You're tired of living on autopilot, missing that feeling of truly being alive. Seeking support is extremely brave, and I am here to help.

You deserve to feel grounded and secure in yourself and your relationships, to embrace vulnerability with confidence, and to create a life rich with connection and purpose.

Your path to inner peace starts now.

Hi, I'm Lori Lindholm, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and founder of A Healing Place NW Counseling.

I'm passionate about helping individuals navigating the overwhelming challenges of life, guiding them to reclaim their self-worth, heal deep emotional scars, and step fully into their power. My approach centers on empowering humans to reach for the life they were truly meant to live—one filled with confidence, self-compassion, and meaningful connections.

My counseling style is gentle yet direct, offering a non-judgmental, down-to-earth, and deeply compassionate space. In our sessions, we’ll explore how your current challenges may no longer be serving you and how they might connect to family dynamics or early life experiences.

Clinically, my approach is holistic and person-centered, drawing from a relational, humanistic perspective. Using an attachment-focused lens and incorporating various therapeutic orientations, including Emotionally Focused Trauma Therapy (EFTT), psychodynamic, somatic-processing, and IFS (Internal Family Systems)/parts work, I look forward to catering our sessions to your unique needs.

Together, we’ll work to uncover the wisdom within your body and emotions, approaching each session with curiosity and even a little humor. My goal is to help you rediscover your strength, unburden your hidden parts, and help you move towards a life of fulfillment and connection.

It would be my biggest honor to support you in your journey to living life as your highest self.

All individuals regardless of their race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression country of origin, ability, ethnicity, or body type, are welcome to heal in this secure and inclusive environment.
